My professional journey started in the year 2007, with my campus placement after completing my MSW in medical and psychiatric specialization to State Resource Centre MP as project assistant in Life skills education project, it was a pilot project successfully accomplished and later CBSE made it compulsory in schools. After getting married to an Army officer I started working as counsellor in schools and different organisations depending upon the availability of opportunities. I completed my Masters in Clinical psychology to support my profile. I took various seminars, workshops, lectures and webinars for advocating mental health and wellbeing. I am being associated with Army formations, CatFit foundation and couple of online platforms and providing my services as mental health expert and guidance counsellor worker. I am confident and compatible enough with applying behavioural modification techniques, using psychometric tests and maintain case history and counselling records with utmost confidentiality. I can handle individual as well as group counselling and can work as a life skill mentor and life coach. I have excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills. I am a team builder having immense desire to learn new skills to improve my abilities and performance and have an indulgence in solving problems pertaining to personal as well as professional skills of individual. Being an army spouse I have a hands on experience in dealing with people from different backgrounds, cultures and beliefs. My approach combines cognitive behavioural, humanistic and psychodynamic counselling. My approach is based on detailed case history of client and genuine psychometric analysis. I tailor dialog and treatment plan to meet client's unique and specific needs.
